Privacy Policy

Effective date: 3 September 2026 | Last updated: 27 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Business Registration Nepal ("we", "us"), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information on businessregistrationnepal.com and when you contact us or use our services. We handle personal information under the Constitution of Nepal (Article 28, right to privacy), the Individual Privacy Act 2075 (2018), the Individual Privacy Regulation 2077 (2020) and the Electronic Transactions Act 2063.

Use of this website is governed by our Terms of Service and Disclaimer.

In short

  • We collect only what you send us and what the website needs to run.
  • We use it to reply to you and to provide the service you ask for.
  • We do not sell your information.
  • You can ask us to show, correct or delete your information.

Information We Collect

We collect 3 kinds of personal information, and we treat identity and financial documents as sensitive:

  • Information you give us through enquiry and consultation forms, calls, email and WhatsApp: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, company name, the service you need and your message.
  • Documents you share so we can deliver a service, such as citizenship certificates, passports, PAN details, company documents and financial statements. We treat these as sensitive and use them only as the service requires.
  • Information collected automatically when you visit the website: IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed, recorded through cookies, our hosting provider's security logs and analytics (Google Analytics 4).

How We Use Your Information

We use personal information only for the purpose we collected it for: to reply to your enquiry, deliver and administer the service you engage us for, meet our legal and regulatory duties, keep the website secure and improve it, and write to you about your enquiry or engagement. Our legal duties include tax and company law record-keeping and client identification under the Money Laundering Prevention Act 2064.

We do not use your information for another purpose without your consent, unless a law requires it. We send marketing messages only with your prior consent.

Cookies and Analytics

This website uses cookies and browser storage for 3 purposes: security, features and analytics. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, uses security cookies and a spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) on forms. Some guides remember your checklist ticks in your browser's storage, which stays on your device and is not sent to us.

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and measure which pages help readers; it sets cookies and collects IP address and device data. We do not use advertising pixels.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we share it only in 3 cases:

  • With your consent, to deliver a service, for example filing documents with the OCR, IRD, DOI or Nepal Rastra Bank on your behalf.
  • With service providers that run our website and enquiry system, under confidentiality and only for that purpose: Cloudflare (hosting, security and form spam check), Google (Google Analytics), our email provider (enquiry emails) and WhatsApp (messages you send us).
  • When a law, court order or regulator requires it, including reports the Money Laundering Prevention Act 2064 requires.

Data Security

We protect personal information against unauthorised access, use, change and disclosure with 5 safeguards: HTTPS encryption across the website, restricted access with strong passwords and two-step login on our accounts, confidentiality duties for our team, regular software updates, and backups.

No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and act to contain it.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as its purpose requires or the law obliges us. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for 24 months and then deleted.

Client records are kept for at least five years from the end of the income year they relate to, as Section 81 of the Income Tax Act 2058 requires, and longer where company law or anti-money-laundering rules require it.

Your Privacy Rights

Your privacy rights work in 3 parts, and we answer every request:

  • Access, correction and withdrawal of consent: ask to see the information we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or withdraw consent for future use. We delete information we no longer need, except records the law requires us to keep.
  • How to make a request: email info@businessregistrationnepal.com, call +977 9817373909 or use our contact form. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we reply within 15 days.
  • How to complain: raise it with us, and we will work to resolve it. Under the Individual Privacy Act 2075, you may file a complaint with the concerned District Court within 3 months of the incident.

International Visitors

We serve foreign investors and companies from outside Nepal. If you contact us from abroad, we handle your information under this policy and the laws of Nepal, and some of our service providers, such as Cloudflare and Google, process data on servers outside Nepal.

Children's Privacy

Our website and services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we delete it if we learn we have collected it.

Changes to This Policy

We update this policy when the law, our website or our services change. The date under the page title shows the current version.
